Terms and Conditions for PineCone Homestay

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PineCone Homestay website, bookings, and services. By accessing our site or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms. PineCone Homestay is located in Sillery Gaon, Kalimpong district, offering authentic Himalayan experiences including accommodations, local cuisine, hiking, photography, and more. Booking and Reservations

• Bookings can be made via our website form, phone (+91 62944 52412 or +91 94754 69188), or email (hello@pineconehomestay.com). We confirm reservations within 24 hours.
• All bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost, payable through secure methods.
• Packages include family, group, and honeymoon options with special discounts (e.g., 25% for honeymoons, 35% for groups, 10% for families). Full details are provided at booking.
• Check-in is from 12:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Early/late requests are subject to availability and fees.

Payment

• Full payment is due upon arrival or as specified in your confirmation.
• Accepted methods: cash, bank transfer, or approved digital payments. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes.
• Any additional services (e.g., guided treks to Reshi Khola or Damsang Fort, campfire, or extra meals) incur extra charges.

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival: full refund minus deposit.
• 15-30 days: 50% refund.
• Less than 15 days: no refund.
• No-shows are charged the full amount.
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather affecting access to Sillery Gaon); full refunds will be issued in such cases.

Guest Responsibilities

• Guests must respect the property, local community, and environment. No smoking indoors; pets are not allowed unless pre-approved.
• Provide accurate information at booking, including guest count and special needs.
• Guests are responsible for their belongings; we are not liable for loss or damage.
• Adhere to safety guidelines during activities like hiking or exploring scenic paths.

Services and Amenities

• We provide fooding & lodging with local cuisine, free WiFi, hot water, clean air, and campfire options.
• Nearby attractions (e.g., Rishop Pine Forest, Aritar Lake, Pedong Monastery) are accessible but not guaranteed; transportation is your responsibility unless arranged.
• We strive for a peaceful, rustic experience far from city ruckus, but services may vary due to weather or availability.

Liability

• We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage during your stay, including during adventures or treks.
• Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes) exempt us from liability.
• Guests indemnify us against claims arising from their actions.

Intellectual Property

• Website content, including gallery images and descriptions, is our property. Do not reproduce without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kalimpong district.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
